Notice for use of woodworking machinery

Notice for use of woodworking machinery

(1) Woodworking machinery must be managed by skilled person, and the machinery must be carefully maintained according to the cross operation method of “cleaning, tightening, lubricating, adjusting, and anti-corrosion”. The use of woodworking machinery must be approved by the management. Those who do not understand the safe operation of woodworking machinery are not allowed to operate.
(2) Before working, it is necessary to check whether the power supply wiring is correct, whether the insulation of each electrical component is good, whether the body has a reliable protection zero connection or protection grounding, and a leakage protection switch should be installed.
(3) Before use, it is necessary to check whether the knives, saw blade or other toolds are installed correctly, whether the fastening is good, and whether all safety covers and protectors are complete and effective.
(4) Before use, it must be tested without workload. After the speed is normal, it will be run for 2 to 3 mins. After confirming that there is no abnormality, the feeding starts to work.
(5) During the operation of the machine, it is forbidden to adjust, overhaul and clean equipment. The operator’s sleeves should be fastened and gloves are not allowed.
(6) Before processing old timber/wood, iron nails, dust, ice and snow must be removed before working.
(7) Pay attention to the condition of the wood during operation. When encountering hardwood, knots, and stubble, the feeding speed should be appropriately slowed down. It is strictly forbidden to press your fingers on the knots to prevent the wood from jumping or bouncing and hurting people.
(8) Two people should be used to process wood longer than 2m, one person is feeding the material, and the other is receiving the material. The person who starts to pick up the material must be able to pick up the material after the wood has passed the danger zone, and it is not allowed to yank after the material is picked up.
(9) When using a woodworking circular saw, the operator must wear protective glasses, and safety guards and dripping equipment must be installed above the chainsaw. No one should stand in the tangential direction of the blade rotation during the operation. When the wood is sawed to the end, push the wood with a stick. The cut wood should be pushed with a push plate, and the short-cut material should be pushed with a push stick, and it is not allowed to push by hand. The feeding speed should not be too fast, and the force should not be too strong. A planer hook must be used for splicing. Short materials less than 50cm in length are not allowed to be used on the circular saw.
(10) When using a woodworking planer, it is not allowed to put your hand into the inside of the safety baffle to move the baffle, and it is forbidden to remove the safety baffle. When planing, the amount of planing should not exceed 1.5mm each time, and the material must be held with both hands during operation. When scraping large noodles, your hands can only press on the top of the material, and when scraping small pieces, you can press on the top and sides, but your fingers must be pressed on the upper half of the side of the material, and must be at least 3cm away from the planer. Do not place one hand behind the material. The feeding should be pushed evenly, and when the hand on the material passes through the planer, the force should be light. For thin, short and narrow wood, push plates or push rods must be used when planing, and wood with a length of less than 15cm is not allowed to be planed.
(11) When using woodworking planing, the position of the pressing and reclaiming personnel should not be facing the planing mouth, so as to avoid the large material planing and hurting the face. According to the width of the table, several pieces of wood of the same specification can be moved in parallel at the same time. Timbers of different thicknesses are not allowed to be planed at the same time, otherwise it is easy to hurt the thinner wood. When planing, the planning depth should not exceed 3mm. During operation, the material should be fed according to the stubble, and the material should be kept straight. The length of the planing material should not be shorter than the center distance between the front and rear pressing and rolling, and the thin plate with a thickness of less than 1 cm must be supported by a support plate before being pushed to be pressed and planed.
(12) After every day’s work, the sawdust, sanding podwer and shavings must be cleaned up, the switch should be turned off, and the switch box should be locked before leaving.
(13) In order to prevent the occurrence of fire, smoking or burning fire for heating must be strictly prohibited in the woodworking machinery operating room, and necessary fire-fighting equipment must be installed.
